Memories that will last a lifetime

I, as an individual, love exploring new places. Whenever there's an option for traveling, I tend to grab it! I got the opportunity to visit a few countries in Asia. The one country that has my heart is Thailand!

My parents and I felt that we needed a family vacation. It was long overdue. I visited Thailand in February, 2018.It was the perfect time to go to Thailand. During the month of February, the weather in Thailand is perfect, it is not too hot nor too cold!

Thailand  is a country in Southeast Asia. So, it was a budget friendly destination for traveling as we also live in a country in Asia.

After we landed, the first thing that impressed was their airport, The Suvarnabhumi International Airport! The architectural design of the airport, my oh my, is magnificent! Their whole procedure was very systematic and efficient!

We stayed in The Trendy Condominium Hotel. It's a 17-storey building. Wild, right? The view from our room was amazing as we were staying on the 11th floor. We were only there for 5 days. So, we wanted to make the most of it.

We wanted to explore Bangkok City first. We took a taxi and went around the city! Almost all the buildings there are high-rise. All their malls are so elegant and the basement of those malls consisted of departmental stores and duty-free markets. It was actually amazing! We also visited the Ministry of Defense Headquarters. It was architectural beauty at its finest!

We also visited the world famous Pattaya Beach. We had to go to Pattaya Beach by a speed boat from the city. Kind of how we go to Saint Martins Beach from Cox's Bazar but more exciting. It looks absolutely amazing and stunning. Just the thought of being there one more time excites my heart. All I want is to wake up to that view every day.

We explored their Halal street foods. They had a variety of foods but mostly seafood like octopus, crab, shrimp, squids, etc. They also had chicken items, but people there mostly opt for seafood. We tried a few of their foods, but we mostly ate in Bengali hotels.

Visiting Thailand was one of the best decisions I ever made. They are a fun, culture enthusiast country. The buildings there are very colorful. Their traffic system is very regulated, unlike our country. People there actually abide by the rules!

Although it's a very beautiful country, there are some tips I would like to provide. Before going there, make sure you know the locations of a few Bengali hotels. Because that's a non-Muslim country. Also, keep in mind that they don't know English that well! It was quite difficult for us to communicate with the taxi drivers to make them understand where we wanna go. We had to do hand gestures, show pictures, maps etc. to make them understand what we were saying. Apart from these, if u wanna visit, go for it!

Trust me, traveling to a new place is always refreshing and exciting! It doesn't necessarily have to be a country, it can be a new district or a new spot! Everyone should try it once in a while. It will change our perspective of the world!

As Wallace Stevens once said, " The most beautiful thing in the world is, of course, the world itself. "
